@zleap partition in India when they created East and West Pakistan now known as Pakistan and Bangladesh. The bloodshed was horrendous. Partition was a particularly vicious British Empire ‘tool’ used when giving a former colony its ‘freedom’ they’d create internal strife so that the nation ‘freed’ couldn’t be a threat to the empire.
Yeah, we can blame the british for this, we can also blame the British for the Isreal / Palestine issues.

I kinda thoight that partition was the creation of Pakistan from Norther India, so was there more to it than that, also created Bangladesh and I guess the disputed region of Kashmir
