Many, many innocent people will die on both sides. It’s a tragedy some treat like a football game.
I think it has got to the point where negotiations are not going to get anywhere, Israeal, having vowed vengence, they are going to have to go through with it, or look weak on the international stage.
But we surely can't have bombing of civilians, if they need to hunt down and find members of Hamas then they need to do it the hard way and put boots on ground.
International law still applies here, Hamas can choose to ignore this but Israel can't, and neither can allies as we are all signed up to international law on not attacking civilians, we can't back Israel while at the same time condeming Russia for doing this in Ukraine.
