I think what we need are more people from professional industries working as MPs or their aides / advisers.

Imagine if the education secretary had to actually WORK In education on the front line even one day a week, they would know what the job was etc.

Rather then having reshuffles where someone gets a department has zero experience.

The same goes for other areas, say Health, social care, police , prisons etc, that minister MUST have experience as should their advisory staff.
