So with FB pulling a Google and forcing ads on us all (we'll see if FB Privacy still works after March next year), I'm looking to expand my presence here on Mastodon.
What I'll miss most will be FB groups. I run my own fan group there, and I'm a member in many, many author groups.
Is there any way to rebuild something like that on the Fediverse? I know about @ grup.pe, but that doesn't quite have the same visual impact.

+1 to this I think groups or lack of f could be a barrier to more take up on fedi.
