@silverspookgames This is interesting even more so is the fact the BBC and UK media is not even reporting this.
Western Capitalist Clownworld: "OMG we're all gonna die IPCC pyrocumulonimbus burning Earth Wall Street runs everything doomershit 200k covid antivaxx everywhere!"
China: "World’s largest solar powered green hydrogen plant begins electrolysis over wolfberry and alfalfa crops. Let's crack down on finance capital / Big Tech. What is being 'anti-vaccination?'"
@thor Well yea, hence we have the conversation on here and try and build something much better.
@thor Money or perhaps more t the point Power, Money and Greed.
@bcallah Thanks have shared on my personal blog and also my CoderDojo blog.
A new #blog post appears!
We're beginning a new series, "Let's write a compiler." In part 1, we'll introduce what a compiler is, select a language for our compiler, and do some high-level (no code) planning.
At the end of the series, you will have written a complete compiler from scratch! It won't be the world's fanciest compiler, but it will be correct. And it will be fast! Good for beginners.

CD testing is nearing completion! The test matrix is quite extensive and most tests require real hardware so this is the most time-consuming part of the release process #ReleasingDebianBullseye
There are 1,152,960,944 lines of code in Debian bullseye. #ReleasingDebianBullseye
peertube is nice because it is specific to videos, it is federated, the bandwidth is shared througha torrent-like interface, and supports things like live streaming.
If you plan to post videos the peer tube instance is the way to go.
@freemo @icedquinn That video was shared by @academicalnerd
on ttps://vidcommons.org But happy to share others. I think I will see what accounts I have on here actually.
I think i have a nextcloud account at least.
@freemo @icedquinn
Ok to this end
https://discourse.qoto.org/t/open-access-to-research/635
I have started a discussion on discourse, if the title / wording needs changing I am happy for the wording to be changed.
More than 6,208 people have contributed to Debian. Some of the contributors are shown in https://contributors.debian.org/contributors/flat #ReleasingDebianBullseye
It is hard to determine the education level of posts. Either make it so simple and dumbed down you kinda attract everyone and don't get any real discussion or aim higher and it is harder to attract people.
I would rather treat people as if they can have really intelligent discussions, hopefully enough so any comments are backed up by links to where they get information from.
I think that makes sense.
@freemo @icedquinn I have a post on my blog with a video I have here scheduled for the 26th
https://personaljournal.ca/paulsutton/open-access-video
so feel free to link to the video, if that helps.
I think there is now more of a push towards this, so I guess it need to be publicised.
Hope to get more people interacting on discourse is an enigma for me at the moment, despite me trying to post content and linking from my blog.
