I think ssh -x or -X enables x forwarding so you can use graphical applications remotely.

On fedi (and yes instances are still probably vulnerable) there are in some cases so few users and each user has so little useful personal data stored it probably makes it less worthwhile trying to hack an instance.

We need a society that treats people with respect and equally.

Perhaps we need more men in school who can set the right example of behaviour some schools in my area are nearly ALL female staff, if the kids have no male figure at home, where are they going to get their male role model from.

Perhaps from the internet and influencers who may not always be as they project them selves to be.

Zukerburg says sorry for being offline for a few hours, dismisses the reports of Insta being bad for mental health (even thought he WSJ article was based on the facebook internal documents) so it proves he cares for profit not the health of users.

As soon as people wake up to that and see zukerburg as he truly is, things will hopefully change.

@thor Indeed which Is why I find the term low skilled rather perplexing, and really does explain why people don't want to do those jobs, if that is the perception how do you move on to other jobs from that. ?

For cleaning you are also handling chemicals, so need training in how to do so safely and properly

If you need to dilute chemical 10x then you need to work out how to do that.

I think all jobs have some degree of skill. just different levels.

A cleaner who is also trained in first aid (which they may be if handling chemicals) could be an asset. in the situation i suggested above.

@thor You need to let people build up experience and not expect the same performance from someone who has never done the job compared to someone who has for years.

Sometimes I feel employers want everything on a plate, but for entry level wages or say an entry level job needs 5 years experience ( a few examples / comments about that on Linkedin)

@thor I think to add to tjat if you were a programmer and i was a cleaner and you got an electric shock, I walk in and either perform CPR or call for help

could a robot do that, ?
