So what does that mean for users, can I follow my codeberg repo from mastodon ?
Yeah good point, this is why it needs to be better and more integrated, The Torionto transit system seemed really good, but that was circa 2006.
There are trains (via rail) and greyhound for getting from one pkace to another.
Takes 4 days to go from Toronto to Vancouver
@eldaking Is that due to a funding issue, Firefox needs money for development so promoting google generates income.
@fediverse They can't decide what we should be using either, so one day a particular phrase is the 'in' thing the next week it is deemed offensive, in favour of something else.
Result no one is really sure what terminology they are meant to use
From a 'chemist' viewpoint there are a;lso cis / trans molecules which I think refers to where a particluar atom of say a halogen is on the carbon chain, either on the same side or opposite sides.
@bonifartius @pamby1 @sigma @professortom
Ah Ok, how efficient are they ?
Well if we build good infrastructure more people will use public transport, and it will be cheap, reliable and not get caught up in traffic like it does where I am sometimes.
Result less traffic on the road, = less emissions but more importantly I get to my destination in good time.
Not getting any coding done because GitHub is down? Why not take the opportunity to check out Codeberg (https://codeberg.org/), Gitea (https://gitea.com/) or GitLab (https://about.gitlab.com/install/)
Stem is Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths.
I agree they are all one set of topics that are interrelated now
Marcus Mengs posted HTTP dumps from #Instagram mobile app that collects and sends to Meta the following details:
SSID and BSSID of all local WiFi networks, including yours
BLE beacons
Detailed GPS (!) location
Yeah the west could easily help those countries out in that respect.
In some parts of the world, you have little choice due to poor public transport and or distances to get to places.
@humanetech @dsfgs @PaulaToThePeople
Yeah, good point it also avoids being stuck with the technical side of thins
Yeah, we need to encourage science, debate and problem solving.
But proper science subjects.
Never know we may be able to grow crystals for solar panels in space in weightless conditions, that are more efficient for example.
@humanetech @dsfgs @PaulaToThePeople
I am happy to promote things on my blog. if it helps
@dsfgs @humanetech @PaulaToThePeople
Yes but we can't igmore the fact hje is using AGPL code, and has removed the AGPL license and said it is propitiatory,
