@kaia

Maybe we can keep the statement but expand to emphasise while fedi is free you are seen as an individual

It is like the statement about "too good to be true it probably is"
. Now think the fact that Linux mint or Debian are Free.

A whole OS for free (people see cost here only) may seem like there is a catch somewhere.

Free as in cost vs free as in freedom.

@kaia Problem with that statement is you are not paying for fedi either, but here we are NOT a product,

@pamby1 @waronmorons
A modern system needs to prepare for the modern world not working in factories or down mines etc.

Sure those jobs exist factories are more computerised people need technical as well as practical skills.

I am off, catch up Monday, thanks for the chat.

@waronmorons @pamby1 SO how does that happen, unless you fail to teach about the constitution properly and fail to teach science in terms of questioning what is going on;

@waronmorons @pamby1
Yeah, in some ways if a country can get a very good education system, it will fix a lot, Easier said then done given how quick things like tech progress.

@waronmorons @pamby1

"a bunch of big national projects, they tend to spend a massive amount of money and do an atrocious job"

HS (High speed 2 ) rail link in the UK springs to mind

@waronmorons @pamby1 I seem to remember him saying about taking control away from federal and giving it to states to control.

Will be interesting to see what happens with this trillion dollar thing the democrats have now got.

Of course if you tell people they can't do something they cry human rights etc and the woke army cancel you.

I remember while in Canada when DaimonAllen (Agors) beat a record held by Warran Moon (Oiliers IIRC)

What the HELL is going on in the UK, we need to get a grip on all this, but need to start TALKING and telling those who think this is OK that it isn't OK to attack / kill people.

From the Daily Mail website.

Body is found in hunt for missing nurse: Children out playing discover woman's body in south London park close to where Petra Srncova, 32, vanished two weeks ago

@natecull yeah, good point.

@natecull I guess for the UK WW2 made a big difference, as we borrowed money from the US, and actually only recently finished paying it all back

If the US had faced invasion and endless bombing it may be different.

7143 completions for Tom Brady

@natecull So it is harder for anyone to get away from the equality. Hnce we now have people who are almost Trillionaires

@natecull He proves anyone can run for and win the presidency

@natecull So basically the idea is to protect the rich, and screw the rest of us.

Tom Brady and just broken the passing record held by Drew breeze
