I agree.

Yup, I agree, shame that so many people think he is some sort of demi god and are oblivious to the way he treats and has treated people.
Can any of these people,. once armed band together and fight back, sure they will die in the process but a carefully planned operation will ensure they take as many of their commanders with them as possible when they do die.
It is time to end this war and I feel it can only happen via an internal rebellion.
Can we start by stoning to death members of the clergy, who abuse children.
A group of Christian nationalists want to take us back to the 1950s ...
... 1950s BC, that is
You know #AskFedi #Mastodon developers or whoever:
The follow/unfollow icon in the notifications feed is a bit confusing and sometimes I find I either haven't followed back, or I've unfollowed accidentally.
Maybe a bit more of a colour difference? But I think the X icon appearing after you follow someone is just a bit confusing.
It's like it's visually saying you're not following.
Maybe turn it into a tick or something? idk
Good point,. I have some nice resources on critical thinking and some resource from sense about science which looks at finding evidence to back up claims.

But I will find some definitions for both of those, thanks :)
@zleap You would probably do the world a whole lot of good if you could nail down the difference between a hypothesis and a theory, especially among the religious home schoolers.
I run a STEM group at Paignton Library I am hoping to make use of ther stack of science kit we have to undertake practical science activities with attendees. On this, some of the parents home school their kids and there is potential I can do this on a more paid basis. I can plan somple activities such as red cabbage indicator for determining if a substance is acid, neutral or alkali, but have some good ideas for other practicals, instructions etc.
So hopefully there is some potential to get more kids / adults in to science at least.
@wausaupilot
In that case this is for all you rugby fans out there.
I am not an expert at this, but surely a steel refinery is much hotter, so it may depend on the industry. Do employers have to take reasonable step, as in install air con, proper ventilation so that the environment is better to work in, which probably makes people more productive anyway.
'I recently quit dominos and it was 100+ in there every day': Domino's worker says it's so hot at work it might be illegal. Is it?

Indeed,
The stopping distance is <1 mile usually so you need to know how far you will go (stopping distance) hence there is a min distance between cars so if you do slam on breaks there is room to actually stop.
IIRC you still need to allow for road conditions so a dry road = more friction so less stopping distance, wet or icy roads, the stopping distance increases, not that you should be going at 70 on a motorway in torrential rain or snow / ice.
@gruber Musk can solve the two-letter problem for X by calling it it “ex,” as in all his former spouses, partners, companies, good ideas, and money.
Titanic, and hope it goes the same way.
Countries such as China, Russia, and N Korea are going to take advantage of this, meanwhile they will just develop stronger encryption to ensure their data stays safe.
What impact will what the UK government are doing have on NATO and NATO allies, will the UK still be trusted ?
