I agree with you, do we know who is at the top of world chess and has made these decisions?

There are lots of examples where a sport or other activity has lost people due to decisions at the top, this has resulted in breakaway leagues, perhaps chess players can do this, form a new consortium which is inclusive and representative from the top down, if enough people join then it will consign the old previous group to the dustbin of history.

No one should have to do this, but it may be needed.

The ban on #trans women in #chess is hitting me particularly hard.

I'm a chess enthusiast (in keeping with my careful curated rep as an expert strategist).

It's just this wtf moment that pulls the wind right out of my sails.

I know really well that lots of folks don't like us. But ... how are we ever gonna overcome a level of pure unhinged bigotry that says we can't be trusted play chess?

Obviously ALL women should be insulted by this move.

It's just becoming more popular again as the far right has seized control of the Conservative Republican Party. I mean the Conservative Republican party no longer exists but it did not that long ago.

Great work, looks like Canada has got this evac thing down to a fine art. It is not fair to compare this to what happed in Maui, so I won't. Lets hope that what they are doing in yellowknife is a) an example to others for evacs b) all learning is shared so any improvements (if needed) can be made and c) they never need to repeat having to do this.

Just find more people like the judge in the Trump trial, full knowledge of the law, the constitution and start to put people in their place.
