Renewables are not going to save us from 1.5℃ warming, they will come too late. Same for nuclear, same for CCS. Reducing energy consumption must be the absolute priority.

#comfyclub please note that due to DST ending in Europe the UTC time for things has changed - things will take place at 21:15 UTC

Embrace, Extend, Extinguish is the plan Microsoft's been rolling out for decades now. In modern times it is spreading to GNU/Linux and Open Source. It is the long game. They are NOT your friend, they never will be. They DO NOT Love Linux or Open-Source.

#FedeProxy is the project that aims to bring code forges - #Gitea, #Gitlab - to the #Fediverse to unite coders, foster collaboration.
When mentioning to others often I hear the name is non-descriptive, so I thought of another one (maybe):
https://forum.fedeproxy.eu/t/project-name-change-revisited/456
Proposed name:
ForgeFriends
https://forgefriends.org
Associations:
✅ Code, FOSS
✅ Social, Human
✅ Community, “Forge friendships”
✅ Adoption, Passion, “Friend of code forges”
And:
✅ Reuse current logo
What do you think? #poll
