whois does not seem to have a contact, other than for tucows, I have a domainabuse e-mail, so as I have a screenshot I may e-mail that, and see if they can contact the owners to fix.
@alienghic @Argus@mastodon.technology
It happens, i am sure a message to the admin may fix it.
@alienghic @Argus@mastodon.technology Indeed,
Maybe what we need is the sort of challenge JFK set, before this decade is out, put a man on the moon and bring safely back to earth.
But make the challenge before this decade is out, find a way to make air travel fully green and sustainable world wide.
We then throw a lot of science behind it, funding, education too so we can solve the problem, and importantly ensure we can take it forward, we need people to maintain the new transport craft, but also fly, research newer craft and improvements.
There's been increasing pressure to try and avoid flying among some more activist leaning scientists.
The standard scientific career involves a lot of travel, and there currently isn't any good way to decarbonize air travel.
Batteries can't supply the energy density for long range aircraft for the foreseeable future.
It seems to be that Greta Thunberg et al are just out to get at people, no matter what people do , or politicians do, it is branded not good enough.
If an adult treated a child like that, constantly saying you are useless, not listening and not good enough it would be seen as a form of child abuse (psychological abuse)

Could make people thing why are we even bothering when what ever small steps we take, will never be good enough.
@icedquinn @torproject So kind of a step backwards in a way then.
@torproject Hmm that looks like Discourse :)
Today, we're very happy to announce a new discussion and user support platform: the Tor Forum.

So do climate scientists travel more often than politicians or rich people.?
I think the occasional long haul to a world conference is probably acceptable.
@alienghic @Argus@mastodon.technology
I just asked that as taking a car, or other transport running on fossil fuels to a conference to protest about use of fossil fuels is rather hypocritical.
Sure these young people can't drive but surely they can set up a massive online protest, we have done that with website blackouts or social media boycots etc. we have had co-ordinated posting on social media.
Maybe older people can use the tech better than these kids can.
This is typical of the UK
Furious COP26 delegates are told to attend REMOTELY - despite burning tonnes of CO2 flying across the globe - because 'high attendance' has caused chaos at Glasgow venue and massive queues to get in
firstly why wasn't this held remotely anyway, ? secondly this shows how the UK could not organise a booze up in a brewery.
What happened to planning a head, surely we know who to expect, how many etc. How much were the useless experts paid to make such a mess of things. ?
@trysdyn i think there was a band called Pearl Jam.
Today's young people are somewhere between discouraged, hopeless and angry.
@alienghic @Argus@mastodon.technology
I just wonder how many of those young people protesting out side COP26 either walked or cycled to the protest.

The odd time you see tech teaching in China, there are rows of people sitting at rows of computers, they seem to be teaching en masse, they know education is important.
