How is there confusion? Surely a simple search will bring up a definition of each, this is then copied in to policy documents with the appropriate sources cited.

@Moon So unless you have something similar to our data protection laws, you may not be able to do very much.

@Moon This is not good, did this happen in the Eu / UK you should be able to make a report ./ complaint under the GDPR.

@aral We have laws in the UK older than that, k which is why many need re looking at and updating.

Just watching the bbc report on this now. The internet was never designed for children in mind, as a result the systems in place are no longer fit for purpose.

How we redress hat but at the same time as the fact people don't trust governments with id checks is another subject
