Noble gasses are just peasant gasses that went to private schools.

“A catastrophic die-off of emperor penguin chicks has been observed in the #antarctic with up to 10K young birds estimated to have been killed.

“The sea-ice underneath the chicks melted & broke apart before they could develop the waterproof feathers needed to swim in the ocean.

“The birds most likely drowned or froze to death.”

A new expose on Elon Musk in The New Yorker details how Musk held Starlink hostage for $400M from the US, blocked off access to Ukrainian forces on the offensive, and even spoke with Putin personally, to the horror of Western officials.

"I used to be the youngest member of the Slade fan club"

Now i'm wondering if he lost that title because he left the fan club, or someone younger joined.

Welcome to Mastodon, lets hope some of your followers come here too.

X/Twitter used to be a nice tool to interact with colleagues and beyond. It also provided interesting information for my research.

That being said, I have had enough of the latest changes as well as of its owner and have closed my account.

Sorry to leave my 4100 followers but looking forward to contribute to a new community on Mastodon.

Sunak’s despicable, but the bigger problem is that Westminster itself is riddled with corruption.

Fix the system. Prosecute criminals.

And Scotland will be choosing independence.

Personally I can't wait for PMQs to start back up, this lot have so many questions.

Saying that, this case could prove interesting

Andrew Malkinson: Government announces inquiry into wrongful rape conviction
bbc.co.uk/news/uk-66606328

The justice secretary said the inquiry would examine the actions of the Crown Prosecution Service, Greater Manchester Police and the Criminal Cases Review Commission over the past 20 years.

so past 20 years this would make it 2003 to 2023, according to

politics.co.uk/reference/keir-

"In 2008, Starmer was named the new head of the Crown Prosecution Service and Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP). During his time as DPP, the CPS prosecuted the two men accused of murdering 18-year-old Stephen Lawrence. However during the same period, the CPS has been criticized for failing to effectively prosecute the TV entertainer Jimmy Saville. Starmer was said not to be directly involved in the case.
"

So it will be interesting to see if Sir Kier gets called to give evidence to the inquiry.

The Tories will of course weaponise all this to highlight Failings at the CPS, in an attempt to deflect their own failings. however in the case of Andrew Malkinson it is clear questions need to be asked, and answers need to be given as to what happened and why.

The US people alone have created this farcical, dangerous situation, so the US people are going to reap what ever you are sowing the seeds of.

I dunno, this is kinda going into a different direction than he wanted. He legitimately does not look presidential material in that photo compared to prior.

Trying to ensue an agenda when you're being manipulated via your own arrogance, is like trying to save an animal from a locked, burning building with only a single pail of water.

Does no-one realize social manipulation anymore in political spheres? Or is everything just half-baked highschool dramas?

Here, look. No in-school infections in a primary school in Australia during the height of omicron. You know what they used to achieve this miraculous feat?

A smoke machine, CO2 detectors, and portable hepa filtration units that you just plug into an outlet and turn on. It's not even fucking hard! They weren't even aerosol engineers or infectious disease experts, they were teachers and parents! Lay people!

Warming decimates Antarctica’s emperor penguin chicks

@binaryhawk

Here in the UK, far right groups such as National front, are banned and membership / association puts you on a police radar. We also have a prevent strategy, which puts a legal duty on teachers for Mandatory reporting under prevent of concerns. If we can step in early then people can hopefully be prevented in to falling in to these hate groups.

We can use a channel process to redirect people to more meaningful activities, the idea is to act before they act by committing a serious offense which gets them a longer crimal record or sanction.

There is a serious concern now about how children as young as 9 are being targeted by these groups, by county lines and many other criminal entities, so they can recruit the next generation, that age group is also vulnerable to child sexual exploitation and or child criminal exploitation.

The US needs to get a grip.

@jalefkowit

That article does not seem to take WWI in to account, would experiences or exposure to environmental factors also have played a part in this.
