BREAKING: Israel military confirms it bombed Gaza’s largest refugee camp—resulting in IDF mass killing Palestinian refugees. Horrific.

We demand a Ceasefire. It is a violation of international human rights law to kill refugees & civilians.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu could lose his job amid Israel-Hamas war - Vox vox.com/world-politics/2023/10 Netanyahu’s poll numbers since the October 7... have been grim: one recent survey found that a staggering 80 percent of Israelis held him personally responsible for failing to prevent the Hamas attack; another found trust in the government at a 20-year low. To address his collapsing support, the prime minister held a press conference on Saturday — his first since the attack.

How come it's always "What if abortion kills the next Einstein" and never "What if bombing people kills the next Einstein"

@Flash @zleap Mastodon has a self-inflicted letter limit. I kicked mine up to 5000 and never looked back.

you ever have a computer problem suddenly clear up for absolutely no apparent reason and feel more distressed about that than the original problem

I think it well past time that the government introduced PR for the General Election - there would be wider spread of parties sitting in HoC.

Also, the English have to get a way from the notion that there is something wrong with coalition governments. It is the norm for Ireland & many European countries.

It feels watching from the outside which we are in NI - it is time a grown up conversation about the voting system.

@zleap I've heard of Snowdonia, too! Someday we hope to travel outside of the States. Caring for my elderly father since the first of the year has become our priority (of course). That's where I love Mastodon - seeing other people's world views until I can see them firsthand.

He argued with his brother for days for the biggest pumpkin just to produce this.

Here's how it works, David:

Antisemitic hate crimes are skyrocketing. Jews are being targeted with violence around the world. They didn't do a goddamned thing, other than merely existing as Jews. If your response to anti-Jewish hatred and violence is something other than "that's bad," and it is, then you're a whataboutting antisemitic piece of shit.

International law 😂 predominantly applies to weaker states, and human rights 😂 only appear when certain groups, such as whites and Jews, are affected.

The criminals retaliate for their losses on the ground by resorting to bombings and harming defenseless civilians.

As long as they maintain power, they will remain unresponsive to your appeals and will employ every means to persuade you of their perspective, even if it means insisting that the blood of children and women before you is merely ketchup and that their bodies are mere dolls. But time will pass.

Israel attacked jabilia refugee camp in #Gaza with devastating consequences.

The number of casualties are in their 100s possibly 1000s.

This was a deliberate attack against a refuge where thousands of displaced civilians from northern Gaza were staying.
