Still trying to find my people on Mastodon. Please boost if you:

-Like pizza.

-Enjoy watching movies.

-Have recurring dreams that you are a frog.

-Feel distraught when you wake up and realize that you are in fact not a frog.

-Spend your days studying ancient texts in search of a forbidden incantation that transforms humans into amphibians.

I was thinking about sewing myself some robes and becoming a Vulcan Diplomat in Starfleet. Anybody here belong to Starfleet? Anybody cosplay as a Vulcan?

“Your Data Belongs to You,” states Tesla’s website. But in fact they violate privacy.
People who walk by Tesla vehicles are filmed - without knowing it. And the employees cirkulate screenshots from people’s homes. 😳 #privacy #dataetik #digital #danskertrut #tech

“YOU BAN BOOKS.
YOU BAN DRAG.
KIDS ARE STILL IN BODYBAGS.”

High School kids standing up against gun violence in Nashville.
This made me teary with hope but also bit of guilt cause I feel our generations failed this generation who’s working to fix this.
I’m beyond proud of gen Z & stand firmly with them.
Every generation should applaud their bravery & join them in the fight to protect their lives & future generations so children can go to School w/o fear of dying in a school shooting.

Twitter banning Substack links yet another example of why you can never expect to sustain anything over a long period on a platform you don't own or control. You are forever at the whim of the owners.

The same is true of Substack. At any point, it could go bust or get bought out by a brain-dead billionaire bellend and that's your income stream fucked.

Do not rely on a platform you don't own.

Democrats would be foolish not to campaign on this and making commercials out of this for the elections this year and in 2024 and beyond.

And we would be foolish not to vote.

Vote OUT Republicans.

Expelling elected representatives for speaking truth to power isn’t just undemocratic.

It’s unAmerican.

We stand in solidarity with the two Black members of the #Tennessee3 in the face of these morally-bankrupt expulsions—and will ensure that their fight for gun reform endures.

So, get naked, #fediverse ! And don't foget your sunscreen :)

While research on the health benefits of nudism and naturism is limited, some studies and anecdotal evidence suggest that social nudity can have a positive impact on mental and physical health.
Here are some potential benefits:

1. Body acceptance and self-esteem: Nudism and naturism promote acceptance and appreciation of the body, which can lead to greater self-esteem and confidence.

The goal of World Health Day is to raise awareness about health issues and promote positive health behaviors, as well as to advocate for policies and actions that can improve the health and wellbeing of people around the world. It is an opportunity for individuals, communities, and organizations to come together to promote good health and make a positive impact on global health outcomes.

#worldhealthday

Each year, World Health Day has a different theme that highlights a specific area of global health. Past themes have included mental health, the impacts of climate change on health, and the importance of health equity and universal health coverage.
The topic of World Health Day #2023 can be found here: https://www.who.int/campaigns/75-years-of-improving-public-health

5. Improved social connections: Nudism and naturism can promote social connections and a sense of community, which can have positive impacts on mental health.
6. Exposure therapy: For some people, social nudity can be a way to confront and overcome body image issues or other insecurities.

My daughter, who has had a degree in computer science for 25 years, posted this observation about ChatGPT on Facebook. It's the best description I've seen:
