Well, I've seen alot of criticism against #cloudflare and the sites behind it.

Instead of blaming and shaming sites because they are using cloudflare - the discussion should instead be:
- what alternatives do we have?

Some people say, and I quote "setup load balancers, and DDoS-mitigations".

I find that kind of "tips" extremely unconstructive. They really dont mean anything, apart from "look how smart I am on talking".

What REAL alternatives do we have?

Judge Chutkan is NOT playing around. She’s not going to let him concoct endless delays.

2,000-year-old Roman hoard uncovered in Suffolk

Archaeologists have made a significant discovery on the grounds of the Euston Estate in Suffolk, England. The excavation revealed a Roman hoard consisting of pewter plates, platters, bowls, and a cup, dating back around 2,000 years to the Roman period.

These items carefully stacked in a pit, suggesting they were deliberately placed, possibly as an offering or for safekeeping.

@ZachWeinersmith Not an AI person but a farmer (albeit not crop). The central problem IIRC is the usual — judgement calls. How do you tell if fruit is ripe? Combination of visual inspection, touch, and experience: all things that are hard to replicate via AI.

I know how’s it’s usually portrayed in media — and, heck, by some landowners — but good fruit pickers are 100% skilled labor.

Also plants don’t really grow to spec, you have a lot of natural variation, and that’s also hard to program for.
