when? only time i've ever seen lecter mention his legal name is to tell people he's not going to tell them his legal name

lecter often talks about life in russia, and the differences between russian and american culture. he also talks about the russian language a lot and is better at speaking russian than he is english. this is the first time in all the years i've known about lecter that i've seen anyone say he's german
