No. I will never find any merit in saying that infection builds immunity. It's irresponsible and unforgivable for anyone in the health sector to even promote this. It's clearly a message used to cover what is now being made obvious--their lack of knowledge in a field they chose.

Did we ever encourage people to get infected with HIV or the measles? Encouraging chicken pox parties, in retrospect, only exposed children to a virus that exhibits latency. It's all so wrong.

@White_Bite well "I'll risk catching Covid so that if I get better, I'll be less likely to get Covid again" is also pretty rubbish.

I'd far rather prefer vaccination.
