So with Musk increasing the video upload limit to a full hour for Twitter Blue, and the #Twitter content moderation system in shambles, perhaps Elon's new business model is making Twitter the pirated film capital of the Internet?
Have actually been looking into this. Bit torrent's share of content pirating has fallen so low that RIAA/MPAA funded groups do not include them in their major pirating risks.
Streamripping sites are currently ascendant. Torrent might now be used more for legit sharing of data and that type of thing.
It is more a function of music/video moving from files to online streaming services.
@rrb @nfgusedautoparts Sure, but the current situation is what matters most.
@rrb @nfgusedautoparts That's not surprising really. But the software and ops model is still quite crude and user-unfriendly for most mainstream (legal) purposes.
