In 1 month, 1 in 1000 Scots died post vaccination.

@Prodigal source?

@skells If you look really closely at the blue background, it is Public Health Scotland.
@skells

Not with those manners, lol.

You can get it from Public Health Scotland yourself.

See attached.

Because you liked/starred the comments of oxblood and pissdick earlier when replying to my Covid vax posts.
@Prodigal @oxblood @skells also as i recall it i didnt jump on the thread i can be wrong correct me if i am
@11112011

Yeah, but it wasn't comparing apples to apples to apples comparison.

Anyways, thought you might care about the data. Guess not.

@oxblood @skells

@Prodigal @11112011 @oxblood

at first glance doesn't matter if you measure from time of vaccination or start of the month, the rate of old people dying probably won't change.

what would be of concern is if there's a spike of deaths after the vaccine which doesn't chime with the base rate...

@skells The data looks really really simple...there is no age info or anything.

It just looks like they did this:

>What's today?
-> Dec 18

>How many people died yesterday that were fully vaxxed 28 days ago?
-> 5

>What vaxx did they have?
-> 1 Pfizer, 3 astra, 1 moderna

-----------------------

Just looking at the table that is literally what they did.
@skells I figure the Scots involved felt thorough data recording would chew into their Guinness time.
@skells @11112011 @oxblood

That is correct, that is a proper comparison.

i.e.

Mentioning how many people died from all causes vs mentioning people who died 28 days after a vax is comparing apples to oranges - they are both sweet fruits, but not the same type of fruit.

-------

A proper apples to apples comparison would be:

If vaccine A and vaccine B both were part of a national campaign, which vaccine has higher reported cases of the vaccine being related to the death of the individual shortly after their vaccination - say 28 days.

With that logic - Covid vaxx casualty numbers are quite high.

@Prodigal @11112011 @oxblood

from their full report:

Between 8 December 2020 and 11 June 2021, a total of 5,522 people died within 28 days of
receiving a COVID-19 vaccine in Scotland (number of days between vaccine and death is
0-27, where 0 is the day of vaccination, all age groups). A breakdown of these deaths by day
and vaccine type is available in the spreadsheet provided along with this report. Using the
5-year average monthly death rate (by age band and gender) from 2015 to 2019 for
comparison, 8,718 deaths would have been expected among the vaccinated population
within 28 days of receiving their COVID-19 vaccination. This means the observed number of
deaths is lower than expected compared with mortality rates for the same time period in
previous years (dose 1 observed/expected ratio:0.66, 95%CI= 0.64 to 0.69; dose 2
observed/expected ratio: 0.59, 95%CI=0.57 to 0.62).

@skells @11112011 @oxblood

Not quite, I really wish the age data were there.

But in absence of it, I rest the case.
@skells

That's pretty spurious because:

1) There were no covid vaxxes from 2015 to 2019 and

2) As far as know, Scots had lockdown restrictions too (so other causes of death such as motor accidents, flu etc were mitigated by lockdowns) from Dec 2020 to June 2021, whereas this was not the case in 2015-2019.

I'm surprised they didn't catch that.

"Lies, damned lies and statistics"

To be honest I've yet to see anything other than huge error bars. Enough for me not to get vaxxed, not enough for me to properly evidence.

The suppression of alternative treatments (prophylaxis and early treatment, particularly ivermectin) is where I start getting cynical.

@skells @Prodigal @11112011 @oxblood
it's very easy to bullshit with statistics yes :cirno_sip:
once you learn a small amount about it you'll be forever mad that people don't include stdevs with averages.

@11112011 @Prodigal @oxblood @skells i scrolled through the thread and i'm just gonna shake my head.

i love how VAERS death data has been flatlined and all we have is a big goal post move from "vaccines actually don't kill that many" to "ok its the deadliest vaccine ever recorded but GREATER GOOOOOODDDDD"

there is no limit to how much terror greater goodies will inflict convincing themselves they are the hero.

and now i disappear :blobcatsnapped:

She is responding to the fact that statistics are used for lies...

This was a recent post by me and reaffirmed by @skells .

She is on-topic for her thread entry point.

@11112011 OK you cool kids.

Gunna play some World of Warcraft.

Laters, thanks for the chat!

@oxblood @polarisera @skells
@11112011 @oxblood @skells

Seems Moderna is the least fatal.

I'm shocked.

I don't know which one was used most in Scotland but frick this makes Pfizer look deadly...

Note to self, when I need boner pills in the future I will not use Pfizer...I think I will use Cialis.

@Prodigal nice one, will have a closer look when i get a chance

and it's captain pissdick btw
