The Geneva based independent human rights group Euro-Med Monitor says it has evidence that Israel has been firing banned white phosphorous in Gaza. Horrible stuff. Prohibited by International Law in populated areas like Gaza.
Ok so who gets prosecuted for this, Israel or perhaps whoever supplied it.

"Additionally, several testimonies which Euro-Med Monitor has yet to verify claim that the Israeli army used tightly controlled white phosphorus munitions in areas in the southern Gaza Strip.'
So it does not have evidence. It has unverified hearsay. So let's go very easy on the suggestion. It's not outside the bounds of possiblity, but it's no more than a claim.

The much more well known and respected New York based organization Human Rights Watch has now joined Euro-Med Monitor in saying white phosphorous weapons were used by Israel.
They claim to have verified the videos and interviewed witnesses.

Fully agree, it seems we on Mastodon have a huge amount of humanity towards the Palestinian people and we can see the true horror of what is going on, at the same time I see very little suport for Hamas, sympathy for the victims of Saturdays massacre but zero support for the actions of the Isreali governments response.
Lets see what happens and prepare some nice big graphics with the simple words "TOLD YOU SO!!"
