When you’re immunocompromised and have multiple other disabilities AND your spouse is also disabled, protection is critical - especially in areas with little-to-no societal protections (even in hospitals). We minimize our risk because we love each other and want to stay safe.

Good. Pelosi should try to raise the debt ceiling, and Democrats should try to abolish it.

The debt ceiling serves no legitimate purpose. The Executive is spending money authorized by Congress.

If Congress wants to spend less, then authorize less.

If Congress doesn't want to issue debt, then raise revenue.

But telling POTUS "we approved specific spending and haven't rescinded that but also you can't spend any money at all" is not an actual power of Congress.
