@onlmaps And there are still 3 diphtongs in Slovak language which _do not_(!) have an associated character - it would make some more... A missed opportunity there!

A timeless classic.

@academicalnerd Or you use a synchrotron light source, or a free-electron laser as the X-ray source.
@z428 Very nice point of view.

# Jake Bugg: All I need

@z428 Very interesting indeed. Not only because it provides a bit of a light on why and how FDP is perceived as it is (see my - now perhaps corrected thought at https://qoto.org/@FailForward/107002304960224138), but interestingly for me, also an insight into the way of thinking of people few decades younger than I am. The way this blog/piece is written gives me a good hope that we are generally heading in the right direction 🙂 . Thanks for a stimulating pointer.

Not that I particularly like this style of music, but the piece goes into a collection with [All Time Low: Monsters](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NlnwXIigAAs). Both feature storyline around "monsters" in lyrics and in a way are about the same topic.
Worth keeping.
@kensanata That. And also forgetting "bottom-line up front" is a constant source of frustration. Either when I forget, or the other party does a poor job.
Not in my world. Fortunately. Only very rarely I get into conversations where the other party missed the rest of the e-mail because of top posting expectation.
Exploring, failing, backtracking, just to identify the only viable path forward. And then scarred, stumbling forward into the future. Learning.
Boring and steady. Knowing little and questioning a lot. Mostly harmless.

This is an experimental scrapbook space. A collection of stuff I want to keep in a form somewhere on the spectrum between a blog and a shoe-box full of scraps, cut-outs, quotes, links and reading notes and sometimes my own silly thoughts about them.
Perhaps it might be of marginal interest to others too, but I don't care that much.
