But I'd rather maintain the principle that all human life is sacred and equal. If you want to agree with Pat on this one that it's not, then that's on your soul.

@kctipton The anarchists just call themselves "an-caps" now and they run the national Libertarian Party. Also, all those militia groups you hear about are typically an-caps as well.
And nobody ever said any of these groups were big. They're fringes by nature, but they tend to be disproportionately loud.
@trinsec I had like three different projects I wanted to prototype in AR, but the pathetic reality of the modern hardware has all but dashed them (and my bank account). It's really disappointing.

I'm seeing a lot of differing opinions from the #LGBTQ Mastodon community about Pat Robertson dying.
While I certainly have no sympathy for the man, I find it absolutely grotesque how many people are going out of their way to celebrate his death.
Relief and indifference are acceptable responses. But if a human being dying elates you, you might be due for some serious introspection, because that seems to me to be the first step down a very dark path.
To dehumanize our enemies is to become them.

Today, I survived one in-person meeting, two online meetings, and got through 50+ pages of dense, technical federal regulations.
Let me tell you something: I *earned* this bowl of ice cream.
This took well over a dozen iterations to get it just how I liked it, but the tiny size helped me iterate quickly. Now, though, it's perfect. The LED easily slides right in, the legs lock into their grooves, and the holder snaps easily and securely into the panel it needs to be on. This will make installing the LEDs onto the actual build much easier.
WTF? I bought a lifetime fishing license and now the state is telling me that it will expire and I have to renew it after 200 years. 🙄 What a ripoff.

To your first point, I have literally heard people on the far left argue that Trump's rhetoric should land him in prison. In that sense, it's really no better than "lock her up".
I would argue that those policies are far left. For the gun example, you have the full spectrum: far left (ban 'em all), centrist (reasonable gun control), and far right ("shall not be infringed").
No, the student loan thing was entirely driven by the far left. It stands as Biden's main concession to them so far in his term. I agree with the problems with targeting... that's a big reason I opposed the measure. But it seems (this is anecdotal based on the far left folks I argued with about it) that the lefties convinced themselves that college-educated minorities would disproportionately benefit, and they rode that wave all the way in.
