Is it just me, or have the pointed sideburns from star trek become a real fashion trend?

@cariad Why switch servers? Why not just block those domains you don't want yourself?

@carnage4life That sounds draconian. Imagine if they tried the same limits with watching sports in America.

@TechFreedom It should also not be so cheap that one American company can ruin the sky for the rest of humanity.

It's funny how references to Twitter in movies already feel like references to MySpace in movies.

@MrBerard It *is* a good thing. It's how public perception shifts. It's why we now have civil rights that we didn't have 50 years ago. It's why Trump wasn't able to crush dissent. It's why you're free to make this argument against it.

Unregulated capitalism doesn't work because everyone doesn't start on the same foot, so it just entrenches inequality.

But speech and ideas are free and we can all participate, not just the wealthy. The best ideas will rise to the top of our discourse and endure.

Like the college tuition thing, he's addressing the symptoms, but not the causes.

Just fucking legalize it.

@KatLS Nope. I used to drive in that state and I know many who still do, and the vast majority are speeders.

Plus, nobody is high at 7AM, which is when I saw it most recently.

I will never understand people who drive slow on the highway, with people passing them on both sides, who think "yeah, this is fine."

These unintentional architects of rush hour are clueless about the havoc they wreak, and that baffles me.

@mentallyalex Careful, that's one of the ways they check for subversives. Just google "how good is corn, right?" and they'll go away.

@kegill I just assumed it was to get the same rewards that culture-war-picking congressmen are vying for... i.e. highly-paid private sector consulting/speaking gigs.

This is the way headlines are supposed to be: the best possible summary of the major points of an article.

"Tesla lied to customers, blaming them for shoddy parts the company knew were defective". I can't improve on that.

Tesla is terrible. Don't buy their cars.

To be clear, choosing not to allow Nazis to benefit from the fruits of your labor is not "censorship". It's "disassociation."

Refusing to disassociate is, by definition, associating with Nazis. And if you don't see why it's wrong to associate with Nazis, then you are *already too comfortable* with Nazis.

@phaedral It didn't. You mustn't.

Most people do because they think it's cheaper.

@lawfare Funny, my dad taught me when I was young that if something sounds too good to be true, then it probably is.

Now some folks want the government to take care of that for us?

Corporate mega-mergers: Killing quality, innovation, and jobs since before I was born.
