I don’t care about Reddit but I still can’t get over what a devastating self-own it was to say “unlike 3rd party apps, Reddit isn’t profitable.”

Like you run a site with one of the internet’s most recognizable brands, completely driven by volunteer moderators and people posting free content, and you STILL can’t make a viable business model from it? Absurd.

I wonder what percentage of kids who played football regret their decision to play football... They got permanently injured, brain damaged, hell, a couple kids every year die from playing football. In the interest of protecting kids, we should ban all football until you turn 18, get letters from 3 therapists, and have specific insurance coverage additions to cover any injuries you have. Also, your coach should be legally liable for any damages or regret you have from playing football.

(This is an analogy about trans kids btw)

MAGA folks have been complaining about Biden supposedly weoponizing the federal government against his political enemies, but cheer at Trump when he holds a rally and describes how he would weoponize the federal government against his political enemies.

The hypocrisy is astounding and underscores the primary problem with MAGA. In their ever present bid to "own the libs" they support and cheer for every ideologies they claim to not endorse.

You have to admit, regardless of your political beliefs, that a guy going to federal prison for years because that's the punishment for the crime because when he himself was president he signed an order to mandate a minimum sentence for that exact crime is hands down the funniest shit that could ever happen and we are nanometers away from that once-in-a-lifetime hysterical occurrence from taking place.
