Nobody EARNS a billion dollars. Please stop using the word "earn" with regard to billionaires.

Billionaires did not earn their money. They *extracted* it. From nations, and from those whose labour they steal.

I know you can follow hashtags, but if you stumble upon a nice unknown tooter then go ahead and follow them. It's encouraging to someone to know their postings have an audience. They will participate more. They will share their lovely slice of reality and you'll be the better for it.

Computer science pioneer and United States Navy rear admiral Grace Hopper was born #OTD in 1906.

As far as I’m aware, she is the only person who has both a supercomputer and a US Navy destroyer named after her.
