@mzan A link to what exactly? The film wasnt a problem, thats the point of the post. Now that "drag queen story hour" is a big issue and everyone is complaining refering to this movie is meant to contrast the absurdity, as it happened in the movie and no one gave a shit.

@mzan they generally read perfectly normal childrens books when ive seen it.

What is a "transgender agenda". Do you mean books about the 24th Amendment, or the Preamble to the Constitution, or the introduction to the Declaration of Independence?

No, I mean things like "if you become a woman, you can become a professional female athlete" or "there are no differences in the mind of a man respect the mind of a woman" and other similar crazy things.
YEa.. thats the way I see it. We need to rethink dividing based on sex.

Anyone can practice sport, also transgenders. Anyone can compete, also transgenders.
But a professional athlete is paid also because they are "role-models". For inspiring man and woman. And a man winning against women because he/she is transgender has no "commercial" value IMHO. It is like paying for seeing America's Cup won by a speedboat against sailing ships. Like a man winning because I know he is doped. Ok, the majority of athletes are doped, but at least I can pretend to not know. But a transgenders is for sure "doped" if she competes against other women, because she is not "natural".

Cheating with drugs in sports is so common, changing gender would not even register. So the first sentence seems meaningless. The second sentence is... crazy, as advertised. What should that part tell us?

I think there is legitimate concern here about trans-women in women sports. That said I dont see the solution as "base entry on birth-sex".. the solution is much more subtle IMO and needs to be gender neutral, I dont know what that solution is. Maybe just have divisions and dont base it on gender at all.
