Atheist; loathe almost all religions and pity the people deluded enough to follow them. I make exceptions for Buddhism as it isn't really a religion in the strictest sense of the word as it doesn't postulate the existence of any god, and Jainism which is the epitome of peace.
For anyone who is interested, my header photo is of the most stupendous sunset I have ever seen. On the right is the waterfront of Vientiane, the capital of Laos, on the left is Thailand and in the middle, acting as the border between the two countries is the mighty Mekong river.

What I can never understand is why the worthless cünt thought anyone would want to buy steaks from a man who eats his steaks totally cremated and drowned in tomato ketchup. If you are going to cook it to shoe-sole consistency and then drench it in ketchup, it makes not a jot of difference whether it's a decent steak or a bit of shin!
I hate SUVs! Over where I live, in Luxembourg, country roads especially in villages can be quite narrow and drivers of SUVs are the absolute worst for having no idea how wide their vehicles aren't! The gutters on many country roads here are still lined with cobbles so you get an audible signal when you are as far over on your side of the road as you can get without kerbing your tyres and these obese SUV drivers try to force further over even though I can see they are the best part of metre from the bloody kerb on their side! I hate the bastards!!!
Over here in Luxembourg, reds are the only squirrels one sees. However, they are a much darker red than the orangy-red ones in the UK. Over here they are dark red, going on black!

In most countries, selling what amounts to military style assault rifles to members of the public is rightly, forbidden. If you obtain your hunting permit, that enables you to buy shotguns and bolt action rifles suitable for hunting wild boar and deer but NOT an AR15.
Small calibre high velocity weapons like the AR15 are not considered to be suitable for hunting and are thus not permitted as they have no legitimate use other than what they are designed for; killing people!
If you are into target shooting, then you may get a permit for a target rifle or pistol but they will be of the specific type used for target shooting, agaIn, NOT an AR15
Oh well, he has 65K minus one now - I don't follow people who play that game

When the tragic events in israel and the Gaza strip started unfolding as Hamas raided israel and murdered 100s, I thought I was practically alone in not vilifying the Palestinian people for what had been perpetrated in their name. I am gratified to see that I am far from alone It now seems that I am far from alone in that point of view.
There can surely be no more asymmetric 'war' than that between Hamas and the mighty israeli 'defence' forces. Laying waste an entire city to root out a few 'terrorists' really is aping the WWII Nazis!

As I was raised in Europe, we don't ever learn or get to hear about that sort of detailed history of the USA - we have quite enough history of our own to be ashamed of!
