Atheist; loathe almost all religions and pity the people deluded enough to follow them. I make exceptions for Buddhism as it isn't really a religion in the strictest sense of the word as it doesn't postulate the existence of any god, and Jainism which is the epitome of peace.
For anyone who is interested, my header photo is of the most stupendous sunset I have ever seen. On the right is the waterfront of Vientiane, the capital of Laos, on the left is Thailand and in the middle, acting as the border between the two countries is the mighty Mekong river.

We need these doctors in the NHS now more than ever.
Many of these doctors have propped up the NHS throughout the pandemic.

Scholars who investigate the existence or not of jesus tend to have a vested interest in saying he did exist, I think it's fair to say!

That's very interesting! I live in Luxembourg and have done since 2005.
Although Luxembourg appears at the very bottom of the table there is nevertheless no perceived shortage of doctors here at all!
I can see my GP within 24 - 48 hrs of phoning for an appointment. All specialities are available with perfectly acceptable wait times. I don't therefore understand how this can be. The situation here should be significantly worse than it is in the UK and yet, that is definitely not the case at all!

Let's face it, hardly anyone in Britain knows more about sexual harassment than tory MPs; they're the experts!
Indeed France has a spectacularly good universal healthcare system - they also have a world renowned treatment facility for cirrhosis of the liver and liver disease in general in one their hospitals in Paris - that says something about what the French lifestyle/alcohol culture does for your health. Having lived and worked in France, I can say from experience that life in France revolves almost entirely around the consumption of alcohol.
He should be stuck off but that won't happen in an extreme right wing state like Florida!

I just want to be a citizen of a normal European country.
I don't want:
- the monarchy.
- the house of lords.
- the FPTP electoral system.
- the archaic practices of the house of commons.
- the criminally corrupt tory party.
- the timid and complacent labour party.
I especially don't want #brexit, which was inflicted on Scotland against its will.
