A truly magical day! I have found out. How to turn off the profanity filter In Microsoft Word 365.
For those who are unaware of the problem, if you try to dictate. “fucking”, “cunt” or a wide variety of other words that are sometimes regarded as profane, Microsoft Word 365 replaces them with a row of asterisks, whether you like it or not.
I have also discovered that the Microsoft Word 365 auto-punctuation system is utterly fucking useless. It contrives to put the wrong punctuation where you wouldn't put it anyway if you had a brain and capitalise things right, left and centre where they shouldn't be; in all a complete fucking abortion!
@Brexitpirates
The Tories' sense of right-and-wrong is so far off the scale in the wrong direction you begin to wander if they're all on drugs. In their heads, do they believe they're being principled and strong? Why now? They've shown not a jot of integrity or decency before this.
Basically, they're an incompetent and callous ship of corrupt narcissists.
Even the likes of the Express are siding with the nurses....

The NHS was created in 1948. In the following years the U.K. has had some truly horrendous governments. They have neglected, meddled, vilified and undermined the NHS in a wicked variety of different ways.
Not one of these governments have ever been so unforgivably horrendous they have caused the NHS Nurses to go on strike.
Take a bow Sunak. This is your historic day.
A couple of day back, I was thinking of buying myself a very expensive Christmas prezzie - a Leica 100 - 400mm zoom lens (for any 4/3rds camera). Normally about 1600€ but on Amazon.de, it was listed at around 740€. I popped one in my shopping basket then dithered and dithered - after all even at that price it's a LOT of money! Finally, this morning I thought "damn it, I'm having it!" but when I went to go to the checkout, a notice appeared saying that it was no longer available at that price but now costs 1579€; a price increase of over 800€!!!
So no bloody Leica lens for Christmas - I'm sulking BADLY!!!
Tories keep trying at attack strikers by saying it's not fair on 'hard working people'
Nurses, who ARE hard worker ng people only got half an hour with a lazy minister
Nurses literally died working their guts out to save ives after the Tories let Covid run out of control
Tories broke the NHS - deliberately. It is managed decline to then asset strip
Imagine being that rich.
Imagine being that rich and being able to choose to be anything you want. You could be an artist, or a daredevil, an astronaut, an explorer... You could choose to spend your days just reading, you could be a reader.
The sheer vastness of possiblity, of all the things you could be.
Imagine being that rich.
Imagine being that rich and choosing, of all things, to be an arsehole.
@EuropeanPowell they are actually not interested in writing replacement laws. They are only interested in increasing the gap between EU regulation, and UK regulation, to make it as difficult as possible to rejoin the EU.

Brexiters are caught between two stools these days: hatred of the poorest (refugees) and hatred of the richest (Harry & Meghan).
And in the middle? A big F*ck All.
Or perhaps it's self-hatred?
Either suits: it's hate all the way. The only blurring is where it elides into fear.

Love the EU and all it stands for, moreover, I spent the last 10 years of my career working at an EU agency.

Atheist; loathe almost all religions and pity the people deluded enough to follow them. I make exceptions for Buddhism as it isn't really a religion in the strictest sense of the word as it doesn't postulate the existence of any god, and Jainism which is the epitome of peace.
For anyone who is interested, my header photo is of the most stupendous sunset I have ever seen. On the right is the waterfront of Vientiane, the capital of Laos, on the left is Thailand and in the middle, acting as the border between the two countries is the mighty Mekong river.
