Heavens - what on earth can possibly have caused the demise of car manufacturing in the UK - surely not fucking Brexit?

Quote from Twatter:

"Word of advice guys, nothing creates dry minge quite like talking about cryptocurrency."

If we've learned anything in the last few years, it's that you don't have to be smart to be rich, you just have to be willing to fuck people over.

Billionaires lost $1.9 trillion in 2022.

Elon Musk lost $115 billion.

Jeff Bezos lost $80 billion.

Mark Zuckerberg lost $78 billion.

None of this has any real consequence on their daily lives.

Hoarding wealth like this is grotesque.

I found a box of drink coasters in the shape of a save icon!

How cool is that?

👆 So all of the sex our ancestors had prior to churches inventing marriage was 'sinful', huh?

It's a wonder all of those gods allowed that (apart from them not existing, obviously).

I popped into the bank whilst I was in town today as it's bang opposite the hospital where I had an outpatient appointment.
I wanted to ask them about a loan for a car, what I had in mind was to put in 6500€ of my savings and borrow 6500€ from the bank to buy a decent second hand car. however, what they proposed, in view of my age, 72, (so they said) was to lend me the money on the condition that they could block an equivalent sum in my savings account.
Now the whole idea of using a bank loan instead of the cash that I have in my savings account was that that way, I would still have my savings available in case I needed them for something urgent like for example medical treatment that is not refunded by the healthcare system here.
So the bank are proposing to borrow 6500€How stupid do you think I am of my money, block it, and then lend it back to me at 4.5% interest!
Fuck that! How fucking stupid do they think I am?

HMRC investigate Zahawi and extract millions in tax from undeclared profits

I hope this is the start of a long list into money salted away offshore by Politicians.

Suspect, some MP's are updating old returns

But we need people to highlight fraud to HMRC and reporters to bring us the news

Alastair Campbell: "For Sunak to say nothing to see here... while Zahawi kept changing his story... frankly lying, a straightforward breach of the ministerial code... & the public do care... they care that this lot are utterly incapable of doing anything, b/c they're dishonest.."

Whoops! That much-quoted ‘UK had the fastest growth in G7’ claim in 2021 turns out to be wrong. @ONS@twitter.com admits a ‘manual error’. Growth was second SLOWEST.

Billionaires should not set climate policy.
Billionaires should not set water policy.
Billionaires should not be setting any policy.
Billionaires should not be platformed to give opinion on crises & injustices they helped create & have financial stakes in monopolizing policies on.
Billionaires should not exist.

Under the leadership of Rishi Sunak, the UK Treasury helped the boss of Russia’s murderous mercenary army to circumvent its own sanctions and launch a targeted legal attack on a British journalist

We have “95% of the renewable technologies” to power the world now. We don’t need miracles we need political will and not in the pockets of fossil fuel giants. Using what we have now and stop using fossil fuels could get us to 80% renewable usage by 2030. theguardian.com/environment/20
