@matt @FediThing The weakness of Fediverse is the immature process of moderation. I’m reading more and more examples of blocking whole servers without clear reasons. Because somebody is thinking about something. Maybe it’s a single post, maybe thousand posts from one million. The easiest thing is to add them to the fediblock list with a long list of general and unclear accusation. Nobody will check them.

As someone from qoto.org, no, the federated timeline is not an alt right celebration... It is a mess(as i suspect with all big instances), but not alt right at all(and if you see something you consider harmful, you can simply block said instance/account)

While free speech is usually taken as "say what you want", people often use it as an excuse to hurt other basic human rights(such as the right of honor(?, not sire about the english names))... So while i will agree for such addition, it still pains me how " uneducated" people can be(me included sometimes)
