@mattsheffield Is that any way to talk about the guy who saved the talent at CNN?

@dr2chase which model did you use? NF-P14 Redux $17 (black) vs Arctic P14 PST $41/5 (blue) (.3 Sone = 22.4 dBa)

@mattsheffield The glut of the world's most notable and influential people (and their followers) will tolerate his fascism as long as they don't have to pay.

@cleanairstars 🤷‍♂️ That's what control display read outside my gym sauna. Will try to get actual ambient air temp measurement.

"If a commercialized cleaner using PC fans similar to the aluminum fabricated PC fan CR box existed, it would provide an ideal solution for commercial spaces."

I continue to believe a 'tower defense' strategy of multiple, smaller, suspended & floor PC fan filter units throughout a space is a compelling solution.

@cleanairstars it would be a threaded female plug/terminal (to attach to unit housing).

@cleanairstars Thanks for info. (I ordered a pack for brother to play with.) If you come across an adapter from fan to barrel plug that can attach to housing like this, let me know!

@cleanairstars Comparing specs with standard P14, looks like they share same static pressure, rpm, cfm. PWM control is added benefit too. Cost difference is about price of splitter cable (for 5-pack).

@cleanairstars So does each fan connect to a splitter cable(s) before adapting to barrel plug/usb? I've seen splitters/hubs up to 5.

@cleanairstars What adapters are you using to connect the fans? (Just a note, but something like this could also allow phone/laptop battery to power at 9V):
USB to 9v, 5v to 12v Step Up, DROK USB Cable DC 5V Boost to 9V 12V Voltage Converter 1A Step-up Volt Transformer Power Regulator Line with LED Display a.co/d/cQCHq1N

Recalculated fixture performance for 2" & 4" deep MERV-13 & MERV-14 filters using ASHRAE efficiency values and filter surface areas ( from Jim Rosenthal). Highest CADR with 4" MERV-14 (233 CFM). Download spreadsheet here: drive.google.com/file/d/10876l

It seems I'm vastly underestimating the surface area of a 20x20x4" filter. Which is good for performance I suppose but makes estimating (with spreadsheet) confusing.
