@Hyolobrika Hey, i backed off a bit because i thought your foot was surely a more pressing concern, but i am still interested in what made you think covid vaxines are bad.

So, when you have the time and energy, i would be very interested in hearing about that. Was it from one news outlet, many different, word of mouth or mastodon posts? What are the basic points about this?

It was all of those. News outlets and internet posts.

Lee Fang reports on stuff like that a lot. You may have heard of the famous Truth Cops article he co-authored. Here‘s another sample more relevant to my country.

It basically seemed like powerful people would stop at nothing to get us to take the jab, and that felt suspicious.
Maybe I was being irrational. Idk.

@Hyolobrika Well it is understandable to shy away from things that get pushed onto you.

Over the time since covid hit, i saw many articles that very closely reported on scientific studies and saw many doctors cited. The overwhelming majority of that was positive towards the vaccines (not saying they make you immune, but that they greatly enhance your chances of getting through an infection without lasting effects).

Some few negative voices, without fail in a tone that raised red flags with me.

So did you get any such things, directly on the vaccines? After all, that's the main point, are they good or not. The scepticism about any gouvernment issued info we share anyway.
