everything after x220 is garbage compared to earlier thinkpads. as long as they have have 3 buttons and a trackpoint, they'll be superior though. even the new shitty thin plastic ones.

Ok I spoke too soon, this just came out today. Australia is still fucking insane. Unvaccinated teachers who were fired last year were invited back to work this year and now they are going to have their pay docked as a penalty for not getting the completely useless vaccine.

@dave The thing that is lost on apparently everyone today is that there was a time when you could live in a very small town, yet still have public transport, still have cultural activities, still have everything people like big cities for. Just go to literally any small town in the midwest and you'll see it. Little small town with a bunch of abandoned buildings on main street, a railroad running right through it. Suburban sprawl and car based infrastructure are the problem
