it starts with the deals for friends in local politics and goes on like that, only the scale gets bigger. i wasn't the least surprised about the corruption in the eu parliament. i on the other hand would be surprised to find a single politician who isn't thoroughly corrupt. that's what politics is about after all.

I have a laptop with a little barrel-connector power port.
I just stuck a headphone jack, of very expensive headphones that I was wearing at the time, into the power port instead of the headphone port of this laptop.
Nothing happened.
To the engineers responsible for nothing happening, when
