More than 4,000 years ago, a dog left his (or her) front paw marks on this clay brick while it was lying out to dry.
Brick was used in construction of the Great Ziggurat of the moon god Nanna at the ancient Sumerian city of Ur.

The pot pictured below is one of my favourite pit fired pieces of pottery. .
Pit firing is the original method for firing clay pots and dates back 30,000 years. Colouration comes from combustible materials that are burned. As these materials burn, vapours are released. Hot pots, still porous take the colour.
I do a pit firing once a year and I love feeling connected to the dawn of my chosen craft.

> Don’t neglect your bros, bros. Check up on them and take them out for adventures or something,
of course that would be the absolutely best! wouldn't have so many broken people if we'd have functioning societies. it's fucking hard to meet sane people tough :/
> because The Industry & State isn’t there to really help them.
maybe it's because i'm eurotard, but the large majority of therapists here are freelancers who aren't paid well _and_ are overworked.. not exactly the people i'd assume to be evil geniouses.
the pill pushers on the other hand are often doing quite well, with much less work ;)
@ceo_of_monoeye_dating it's 5th hand, but it doesn't seem that he said it's a good option. he said that in the end it's the patients decision to choose. not handing a form for MAID.
i don't know the specific forum, but i have seen so much circlejerk going on in the net regarding mental issues it's not funny. people defining their whole personality through their issues.
non conventional is likely good, i won't argue there. ssri are probably doing more harm than help, if they help at all.
cognitive behavioral therapy is more or less someone who motivates you to get your shit together by doing stuff - if someone in the gym does that for you that's fine too. if it's peterson repeatedly telling you to clean your room bucko that's fine as well if it in the end fixes the problem.
i know fedi hates therapeuts but it's a bullshit take to say that any form of therapy is bad out of principle.
Die Diskussionskultur von vielen sieht so traurig aus wie von diesem hier.

I’ve pretty much lost faith in most western medicine over the past three years. One of my best friends left a career in nursing to work in finance. She told me a few weeks back she didn’t think many of the people she worked with in the medical field were all that smart. They’d go through their standard checklists formulaicly.
They’re great at setting broken bones, reattaching fingers and replacing organs. Those are no small feats either. But when it comes to basic thing like the link from sugar/carbs to obesity, or the risks with certain preventative injections, the are a priesthood that follows the sacred texts taught to them from on high.
if this is true, what should the therapist have said instead: "oh no anon, you have to take your meds despite serious side effects which make you even more depressed!!1", "oh no anon, you can't mull over the idea to kys at some distant point in the future!!1"?
which _again_ feeds into the learned helplessness. ffs, the first thing anon went to is a shitty internet forum of people circlejerking about their shit lives and how they can't probably change things. completely missing the point that anon manages to do fitness and go to therapy. can't undo a lifetime of shit in half a year.
imo the only sane thing is to say that anon has to decide these things for themself - given the sucidality isn't acute which in this case it doesn't seem to be.
@m0urs voll punk! xD
@Kagekokoro i was over the verge, which happens almost never for me. maybe grave of the fireflies, but that has a similar theme.
the music is nice yes. i think the whole composition is a really beautiful piece of art and one can feel the love people have put into it.

don't only rely on my words, read what happy customers wrote about me: "10/10 would buy again", "top seller, great value", "wildly incorrect", "teil des problems", "without imagination", "Repeated provocation using copy/paste.", "if you take a dump in my mentions, I just might notice the smell", "log out and never login again", "Du redest wirr.", "My brother in Christ, this is such a ridiculously dumb statement that I will no longer entertain this silly conversation.", "Auf Derailing-Diskussionen habe ich keine Lust.
