@gabriel imo the belief that technology will save us. that's the biggest issue.
not all technology is bad - people are gloriously bad in choosing _not_ to do something that is possible though. there are so many things done now which will create bigger problems than they solve. battery electric cars, creating massiv toxic pollution to save some co2. the mrna "vaccine" which had virtually all effects vanden bossche etc. warned early on. GMO in general are a bad idea. spaceflight. shooting up more and more satellites.
it's all bullshit, it's dangerous and people love it out of hybris and gluttony.

meine meinung als langjähriger vegetarier: versuch nicht fleisch zu ersetzen, sondern freu dich daran was du für coole sachen aus nicht-fleisch machen kannst!
zum hack-thema: wenn du hack "ersetzen" willst, kommt es darauf an wo du ersetzen willst :)
bolognese: supermarkt-tofu kleingebröselt scharf anbraten bis er braun wird - optional vorher den block sanft auspressen damit weniger wasser drin ist. dann zwiebeln dazu, kurz mit anbraten und dann alles mit sojasauce ablöschen. danach dann den rest der sauce wie man will.

man muss schon ein bisschen kreativ werden und experimentieren. einfach die augen offen halten :)
die glamorgan sausage habe ich aus diesem kochbuch: vegetarisch kochen von ceila brooks brown. vergriffen, aber sollte zu bekommen sein. absolut bestes vegetarisches kochbuch das ich kenne. die restlichen ihrer bücher sind auch gut, aber spezieller.

I paid Hugo Gameiro @hugo for a single user instance on his service at Masto Host https://mastodon.social/@mastohost for many many years. He always took my money and never had a problem with anything I ever posted or at least never said anything. I haven’t posted there for a very long time in any significant way as I have 2 other instances which I built custom front ends for and just finished building a gigantic social network from scratch but I kept supporting the guy just because, from his postings, he seemed like he needed it and was trying to do good.
But just as soon as he gets a bunch of new customers because of the recent influx of new users to the Fediverse he deletes my account because of “hate speech” without any warning and no chance to get backups myself or delete all my content.
This is another good example of why you should never trust, feel sorry for or help in any way these vile people. Anything you do for them they will just use to hurt you or some other good person as soon as they get a chance.
