We tried to simulate 1000 viewers on a #PeerTube video, and then on a livestream. (Note that 99% of twitch livestreams are under 1000 simultaneous views.)
We optimized accordingly... And here are the results: it works!
With a ~20$ server, PeerTube can now support such usecases.

Lokale Kreisläufe unterstützen bedeutet, lieber den Punks vor der Kaufhalle oder den Suffis in der Fußgängerzone was zu geben, als irgendwelchen Leuten, die im Internet nach Geld fragen. Auf gar keinen Fall darf man denen was geben, die in der Innenstadt einen Pavillon mit Logos aufstellen, um den dann aufgedrehte junge Leute zum Mindestlohn rumlaufen und aggressiv betteln. Die nehmen nämlich denen, die wirklich darauf angewiesen sind, hier Geld zu sammeln die Einnahmen weg.
