Note that this doesn't just show that stable firing can persist indefinitely. The level of stable firing depends on the history of the inputs. It's an integrating memory with an effectively infinite time constant.

Really slow time constants are not necessarily evidence for network effects.

TikTok will face a fine over its handling of children’s data in the EU following a decision made Friday by the European Data Protection Board (EDPB).

Guy de Maupassant was born #OTD in 1850. He was a protégé of Flaubert and his stories are characterized by economy of style & efficient, seemingly effortless dénouements.
