Giving Drunk UK Man a run for his money...
"A drunk US man allegedly bit the arm of a flight attendant on a passenger jet headed to Seattle from Tokyo on Tuesday night, forcing the plane’s return to the Japanese capital, according to local reports."

@cyrilpedia Actually, the Tory politicians and Leave promotors (a very, very, very small subset of the leave supporters) represent a small cabal who don't give a toss about UK's isolation or any of the other detrimental effects on UK as a result of #Brexit.
This small cabal were interested in the continued privacy of their offshore investments - privacy that could only be retained if UK left EU.
Plus those billions made on derivatives on #Brexit vote night.
Virtually all the protein molecules in our body are replaced during the course of a year.
A fun fact with philosophical implications (ala: Where is the "you")?

"Jawed vertebrates have had at least two genome duplications, and Dr. Pascual-Anaya and his colleagues were curious whether the hagfish showed evidence of them too. They discovered that one of these duplications must have happened before the two groups of vertebrates split — the hagfish genome has signs of it — but the other was most likely after the fork in the evolutionary road. What’s more, they confirmed a suspicion other scientists had raised, that an ancestor of both the hagfish and the lamprey, another jawless wonder, at some point tripled its genome."

@cyrilpedia The Tories and Leave supporters believe that isolating UK like North Korea is a Good Idea. Kill immigration, discourage emigration, kill international trade,…
I wonder, where in the world could we find an example of how badly that kind of isolation is working out? 🤔🇰🇵
'Museums house beautifully crafted scientific instruments and equipment from the past because we can appreciate their aesthetic features. The phenomena we study in the experimental setup – such as copper sulphate crystals, rainbows produced by prisms, and the microscopic structure of cells – can be beautiful too. But what made Foucault’s pendulum a beautiful experiment is more than its visual beauty. Far more importantly, it showed the effects of Earth’s rotation, something important that hadn’t been demonstrated before, and it did this in a clever, imaginative and elegant way. The pendulum itself was beautiful, but the ultimate beauty of the experiment is a combination of its significance and its design.'

'The changes are being implemented by a Conservative government that is focused on cutting immigration. The party also oversaw the vote for Brexit and its subsequent execution, which has made it harder for many international scientists to work in Britain and has prevented UK-based scientists from joining certain international collaborations.'
