Still thinking about one post I saw about #ActuallyAutistic not have a favourite of many things unless specific interest. And correlating to me being asked below questions and my responses in the past :
Favourite actor in Hindi cinema - none
Favourite food - can’t choose. Or tell cuisine (despite being specific interest)
Favourite book - what genre? What mood are you in? What emotions do you want to feel?
Favourite song - what activity are you doing?

That's my favourite thing about learning about #ActuallyAutistic traits. It brings back all the little memories that taught me I was "weird" in some unaccountable way, and makes them make sense as part of a coherent whole. It also makes them feel less isolating, knowing that there were probably other kids going through similar things in Kochi and Pune and Osaka and Hamburg at the same time.
@digital_carver absolutely 100% yes. I have strong recollection of being told that I was blunt and that I didn’t know what to say to whom and when, I just assumed till I was diagnosed that it was me being a quirky sagittarian 🫣
