I sat on the fence as long for as long as my ethics would allow me to, but bringing Trump back to Twitter was it for me. I used Twitter as a consumption/aggregation type service for news and analysis and Mastodon is distinctly not that. However, it does remind me a bit of the BBS systems I loved growing up so that’s been a pleasant realization. Gonna be tough not being a wallflower though. I fully intend to post through it.
