Something my friend just said, and if this shit ain't true I dont know what is:
Democrats are the slimiest motherfuckers . At least republicans are very clear about wanting to kill off poor people
@freemo Biden wants to give tax credits to poor people. Tax credits to start small businesses. ...
I’m so sick of jumping through “opportunity” hoops.
@Shufei Well who better to tell people who are having a hard time getting out of poverty than those who have managed to get out of poverty, or at least stay out of poverty themselves... at least in theory.
In practice the democrats want to just appease the poor and throw money at them, the republicans want to do nothing and just let them die off mostly. Meanwhile what I want to see is them given the help they need, not what they ask for, and I agree politicians dont seem to know what they need.
@freemo Part of the problem are the haughty and high determining what it is we should want or need when they don’t know what it is to walk in our shoes. I wish the Dems actually did give poor people what we want now and then. It might make things livable for a change.
