@admitsWrongIfProven It would prevent content from showing in your federated feed yes.. only way youd see content from there is if you follow someone who boosts it (boosts dont show in federated feed I dont think)... if you want to be safe you may wish to block the instance on your account level.. I am a bit concerned though to just leave them open on any level if they have child porn.

@admitsWrongIfProven They have auth-fetch setup... So I cant see their timeline, and someone would have to follow them and report it for me to see it and be able to act on it.

I dont really have the desire to start following them. Their rules do explicitly state that csam is not allowed, but they could just be bullshitting... sadly i cant see their timeline to confirm.

So yes, but that wasnt what we were discussing.. We both agree there are whtie and non-white genocides... we also both agree there were white and non-white annexes. What we were discussing is examples of genocide used along with anexing to create the modern day country.

With the china and the Dzungar people, for example, the Dzungar historic territory does not lie within modern day china (it is to the north west). So it wouldnt be an example.

The russian example would be a good one, even if it only makes up a small part of russia, that one definitely counts.

Sure is, which is why I argued for comparison based on actual acts of apartheid rather than simply annexing land.

If you know of any non-judeo-christian countries which murdered 99% of the people of a land before annexing it to put its own people on the land, then please, share, I'd love to increase my knowledge... I cant think of one off hand myself.

That said after more consideration there is one huge difference... genocide/apartheid... China and russia took over regions, but didnt exeterminate 99% of the people and then moved in... They moved in, they stole resources, so its worth being upset over... but extermination to take the land is definately one level above what china and russia does... not that they are **that** much better.

@emmreef Yup, it is absolutely an incomplete list and more countries should be added to it. China is a good one, so is russia.

@emmreef I am no lover of the extreme left.. but they certainly do have a point, these are all examples of nations who stole their land from existing indigenous peoples. While I wouldnt go so far as saying the solution is to abolish the countries there is a very valid point in there.

@gabrielesvelto If that is all the evidence they have I would dismiss it outright... sadly most people arent so critical. As with most things the people who find it agrees with their assumptions they will sell it as fact. and vice versa... here we go again.
