@TruthSandwich

Perhaps I am misunderstanding you... when i click on any of the toots int he thread here I do see the whole thread.

@feld

You'd have to look at a chart over a few decades to really get a sense of the trend. Despite the overall upward trend its not common to have fluctuation year to year.

The following chart (while not going up to 2022 sadly) kinda shows that behavior a bit.

@satan

@feld

you are probably looking at species diversity not total colony count. Total colony count is increasing, but species diversity is slowly decreasing. Hell we just lost 4 species over the last 5 years I know of off hand..

@satan

@satan It is, and I do agree a wild lawn is better not just for the bees but nature as a whole.

@satan No no, you were right, when you cound all bees found outside (both domesticated and wild) you see an incline.

If you eliminate domesticated bees and look at only wild bees the picture isnt quite dire, but it isnt as good an outlook. Species diversity has been declining for example.

@satan Yes we are counting all bees found in the wild (which includes domesticated).

@satan The bees arent dying out, since 2008 their population has been on the rise... old news.

@twotwenty

To give you an idea my silver rings (not shown) have an engraving on the inside of the band that say "Graa" which is Enochian for "Moon". The gold one I have is inscribed with "Ror" which is the Enochian word for "Sun". Sadly they use english script but true Enochian would use the Enochian script.

@feld

@twotwenty

The colored ones have no meaning to me other than color matching.

Many of my other rings have some symbolism to them, some are for fun. The ones that have meaning are the plain metal ones mostly. I do have some engraved with sacred symbols (like my PELE ring), but I dont usually wear those day to day as I beleive it is important to not advertise ones spirtual views, and in fact go out of your way to keep it to yourself in most cases.

@feld

@admitsWrongIfProven Well if you want to consider that sort of time span then just send it in a rocket to the nearest blackhole... will spend most of its time in space and cant hurt you and eventually goes away forever.

Now the real question is how does the physics work out if you send an indestructible snail into the heart of the one thing that can destroy anything at a quantum level :)

@admitsWrongIfProven If the snail is clearly identified or has a way to identify it then it becomes rather easy... encase it in a solid metal container, sent it off in a rocket to the sun. Sure it may not die in the core of the sun, but it will be trapped there forever, so good enough.

@admitsWrongIfProven ahh the old snail story.

The problem is how do you know if the snail you put in the sphere is the one that can kill you? He wasnt indestructible when i heard about it so you cant test it by trying to kill it. You can capture a million snails and it still might not be the one :)

@admitsWrongIfProven

not sure what you mean... but no, the tungsten is just a plainmetal with no particular meaning.

Being the most dense metal you think it might be a better representation of the Occult concept of the Earth element than hemetite. But I guess tungsten wasnt well known in antiquity so it never really was associated as such.

I like it because it has a lovely silver-like luster. So it looks nice as a plain band white metal. Plus being one of the hardest metals it keeps its luster pretty much indefinitely. Probably one of my favorite white-metals on looks short of platinum.

@feld

@feld Nothing, they just have different bands of color in them which I will wear to match my color (tie/shirt) for the day.

I only have a few rings that mean anything:

Freemason ring - self explanatory

Legend of Zelda ring - self explanatory

Silver ring - Occult symbolism for water/moon

Hemetite ring - Occult symbolism for earth

Gold ring - Occult Symbolism for fire/sun

PELE ring - Supposed ring of solomon according to Enochian tradition, gives one control over demons

A few of the rings above have inner band engravings to symbolize their various nature, usually using a loagath.

@freepeoplesfreepress

I dont think Trump claiming a miscount was anymore equivalent to inciting a coup than when past presidents have insisted a miscount occurred. I think that logic is far too simplistic.

Now it is fair to say his claims were harmful and reckless. Nothing wrong with holding him accountable for the recklessness of his words. But to go so far as to say it was an orchastrated attempt at creating a coup... now thats hyperbolic in my eyes. Its close, but not quite there.

Nah, I dont see it as an orchastrated and intentional coup intended by Trump... though it was on the brink of becoming one, and he would have likely leveraged it and turned it into one if it had.

@freepeoplesfreepress @alecui

@the_etrain I was just being silly. I t wasnt something I intended to defend :)
