They did take it against the will of the chinese people. May 1684 Taiwan was annexed by china against the will of the Taiwanese people.

Since then it was given to Japan and ultimately given back to china. But at no point did Taiwan join China by its own choice.

I've used OKCupid and Tinder before significantly. Way back in the day (like a decade at least now) I tried most of the popular apps of the time too, but the for-pay ones I didnt stick with (though the women seemed less superficial on them in retrospec).

As for the bio, generally the most effective bio is a funny one, the bio tends to draw them in but serious ones that describe yourself honestly and completely tend to push away people. Usually people like to learn about you organically I guess.

I havent used a dating app in quite a while, but that wasnt my expiernce. I mean yea women are shallow in general, but no more so on the app. I mean I'm overweight with little to no sense of style and I have had a lot of success with them in the past (including my current GF)

Well it may not be ideal for the economy, but a small percentage sick and out of work is going to be hugely better for the economy than everyone quarintined of course.... So yea will at least give our economy the best chance to find a real solution.

The way I see it the "long covid roulette" is really just what we are stuck with now, its life. So yea I'd say we just need to accept it and move on with our lives.

That said we can do things, its just not as individuals so much. Better vaccines and better treatments are ultimately where our time and money should go.

Luckily without quarintine and mask mandates our economy can function well enough to support continued research into vaccines and maybe fix the problem at some point in the future.

Was thsi David? He has a habit of lying about people he doesnt like to try to get them in trouble... its really disgusting. I had issue with him too.

He tried to claim I harassed him but refused to say how or why. So I released all my private DM with him (which were over the top kind) and people on his instance started calling him out after I posted it (he was trying to get my instance blocked).

So he started blocking long time users of his own instance and people got even more pissed. It was quite the show.
