USELESS / PEERS HARDLY USED?

(updated just for asking others)

The sharing is totally useless - like really useless in this context (here is my reasoning below)

- you need to be online playing at same time to use p2p video sharing to others ^^

- It's just a 7min short video in this case so people are gone before any can really share ^^

Maybe for 1hr movie it can help bandwidth or by chance 100's of people watching during the day to catch a peer, but not this

I think you're nice but don't trick yourself unless technically I miss how p2p works without any peers which is why I also open this to others as I'm happy when I'm wrong / miss something :)

You got my respect for replying. Not fighting you on it.

I would say 360p only version for streaming would save you and others, then could be added as static download elsewhere... or even 720p + 360p version instead of 1 big one.

Many things don't need it / have been done already without.

Pushing technology is often to people that don't understand.

Pump and dump is a phrase for this.. Creating hyperbole and excitement and then close the show with the people's money bags packed on the way out / rug pull type stuff.

A false narrative by venture capitalists.

Even the companies or venture capitalists don't know their stuff other than make money from people..

I have to admit my bias that Bitcoin people have always talked about it constructively and without running away. So those people who patiently answer all questions or come back to tables is what is going to win trust and proof it's not just about money (while accepting electricity etc is an exchange for some security away from Banks and authoritarian domination, and perhaps always an exchange )

At the end we need to get away from just banks having control of our whole life for many reasons morally about and financially bankrupting countries.

HELLO, do you have a 360p version?

(you have only 1080p which is a big file actually for 7mins)

And then also for bandwidth per second / data it's a lot (up and down many computers).

At the end the 360p version would be appreciated and preferred even 240p and really if I need on small phone a 1080p then I can change it! lol

IMAGINATION ALLOWS OTHERS TO FULFIL YOUR DREAMS AND THE OPPOSITE

Saying your imagination out loud can be good and bad.
Some of that can be helped by considered who or where you say it before saying it.

So just within the the good and bad (ignoring some of the mixed middle ground) here in this post the saying out loud or wondering can allow and even enable people listening or looking to do it for you or help fulfil that wonder or possibility you mention... but also in a bad way maybe take advantage or do something with it not intended (you have to predict that somewhat in a world full of people!)

SUMMARY
so we have to be careful both in the saying and listening... here's why in more detail but if you're happy with that- then that's the shorter version.

LONGER / MORE DETAILED

SAYING "I wonder if xyz is possible" can be good because you want it to happen (can also be as a throw-way or filler thought but for this example you think you want it).

FOR LISTENER have to be be careful as someone wondering doesn't mean they want help or want it right away or it should be like that etc...

There is a skill in decision making here... and overall it's always good to ask before assuming and rushing to help...

Yeah also consider people just wonder things a bit recklessly or from lack of some other emotions, and it can be just manipulation.

BUT IN A HEALTHY WAY assuming we know what the person wants or needs in this healthy realm means we or even a collective can practise improving thoughts and practically do many more things. Sometimes called "World building" help in each others thoughts via imagination and ping ponging / finishing each other's sentences etc.. imagining you're a super-hero coming to save the capitalistic world etc...

The good or bad effect depend on if people take it towards good or bad and how they take it (and to be honest sometimes we don't know until it's done which is why it's always good to ask permission or consider more the situation). Some people can even be offended or have feelings so this is why I'd like people to harmonise and be more accepting or aware.

OTHER EXAMPLES OF BAD@
In a bad commercial world let's say when you are saying or announcing "my leg is broken" this can allow that system to take advantage and aim to break your other leg or keep your existing leg in pain (to keep you on medication for example)... So if you know there are sharks around in the world it's good not to bait them... while finding the right people to talk to somehow. Mastodon for now...

At the same time someone else more helpful and personally accepting can hear that and give you crutches and might even be a doctor or find you a solution through their contacts... almost on the spot help to heal you troubles.

FINE LINE SOMETIMES !

It can be a fine line but I think you could trust individual maybe even across the internet more than existing relationships tied to things! Find people who already love what they do and see that as the trust bond.

The cross-over from how messages are taken is like basic "announce" of things to work in two main ways as I see it here (positive and negative):

POSITIVE EXAMPLE in trusted area:

"I wonder if this could be done..."

"Imagine this colour like this but shape like that"

"I wish someone would take all these pictures and upload it for me"

(Then someone listening gets into action and does it or sees this as a sign of help- not always though!)

NEGATIVE EXAMPLE

- Stealing your idea once you announce and seeing how others can get sucked into your idea AND changing the end result they get to bad

(quite like a lot of inventions or good spirited people forced into bad containers of money / business / profit)

- Taking your fears and making it worse / seeing your weaknesses

(quite like mass-media which I think gauges by announcing some big plan and seeing what reaction they get as a testing ground for whether they actually do it. So this can be a type of prediction tool)

- You end up designing it for them! (so by saying it or repeating fears often it can gets used like a manual on "how to attack me" like George Orwell's 1984 book which could have well designed what happened after or at least accelerated it if much of it didn't exist in 1984. He could have inadvertently wrote a book about "How to mess up the world" by over-predicting and imagining as if he was the designer (only to be right afterwards!)

CAREFUL WHAT YOU IMAGINE AND WHAT YOU WISH FOR OUT LOUD!

Have to make sure it's with right people or calculate other ways it could go otherwise with bad people they'll only do more of the same bad job they are probably doing now.

Individuals are a lot safer than giving companies ideas.

I guess it's a big of a race without tripping over to do it too fast either- slowly but surely with quality is the more fool-proof way (including clarifying to our self as we go!)

EMOTIONS
what we want or why we say it doesn't always match up to logic or read reason...
Emotions can make us say things we don't exactly want... so this is a very human thing often not always scientific or absolute in terms of what we see or hear or understand when speaking or listening.

So at the same time as agreeing 100% about this post and googlismus taking over and making sure of that I wanted to add if possible something further once those things are sorted... (because it's true Google/YouTube hosting everyone and privacy issues mentioned in post is not good). So we are being in danger and it is quite real- but I consider living is as a risk and it's more about making the right exchanges within understanding where you are going in life and accepting / knowing your life *is* a risk -

I hope this added post doesn't take away from making sure your channels are solid and doing this right and the rest is about pumping ourselves up somewhat to do better things together.

My aim is just to do much better within every individual and that (in my opinion) is best way to sharpen EVERYTHING.

So not to be consumer on defensive side but train up.

Not using Google as a major thing is 100% BUT also on the other side is training about fighting forward and even being aggressive/persistent in some human training / getting experience / straightening people who want that and doing other *controlled* ways mostly start from talking to people but then agreed on practicals.

PEER-CHECKING / IMPROVING CONFIDENCE IN 'STRANGE' INTERNET

This contact is also an incremental peer-checking way of each other and not being too defensive to the extent where we let genius die out from lack of understanding them / not funding because we're scared or not sure how / not letting people stay in our houses and get the radiation and experience they need etc etc... this is mostly not much risk or even good learning from what happens (again a bit of control is there but not blocking the coincidental or spontaneous things). Being clear but flexible.

MOST PEOPLE ARE GOOD / JUST CONFUSED

Really the percentage is really low for some risk and even can be found out (like if I'm bad and you find out that's good).

SUMMARY

As short way of saying defensive-only doesn't work.
And we need the collective.

So giving other individuals time and 'risk' in that way is going to be better as probability IF you agree we need each other (literally me and you and him and her and even getting better at having subtle or active defence)

AFTER BEING SAFE, ATTACK!

Being safe and best practises is for sure one big level, my advice on top is not to curl up and avoiding attack problems

This involves harmonising in conversations / fixing people almost literally as we go along / helping adjust perceptions, calculated and clear soft and hard efforts almost considering that losing time on this is the main loss as Google grows).

NOT KILLING TIME

I feel people are almost killing time by not thinking in attack and more as consumer.

USING OURSELVES BETTER
Defensively what is going to win is to try come out while they are weaker and even hit hard in known good ways.
I'm also quite sure they will not ever be weaker than now as they are using us as the containers (which is why I focus on using ourselves better) so pumping individual up is good practise / small scale / in the respect... and we can respect starving corporations while trying to feed our mind and body more.

'UPGRADING' THE COLLECTIVE'S MINDSET

Upgrading our 'interaction ability' as a skill. It's maybe too protective now and people should be asking me and you everything!

PARANOIA HURTS ME AND YOU *AND* HELPS THEM

Hurts people to be too paranoid and not checking each other out doesn't even progress things... which is usually the human emotional bullshit we all have and need to accept petty or not- to upgrade our capitalism-trained minds and re-assess crumbling foundations and start again.

I have no doubts
- people are busy
- and there may be technical problems
- and the will or gamble to talk to really talk to people as a normal is not necessarily embedded

So I do sympathise but somewhat don't accept it as viable which probably just reflects how life is itself but somehow I believe I can do better with my time or need to.

No need defend yourself, just increment checking my profile without being repulsed would be great, probably with a cup of tea from time to time... 🍵 or glass of wine🍷

My aim or ideal is for everyone to juggle together / give excuse to work together / participate.

Just in passing a few points from me...

Mathematics, Numbers, Money are all flawed when used in valuing humans or many parts of life.

I see it as incompatible or only taken in a narrow lenses what people can't see overall as sapience and instead focus from what they want from people as generations rolling in (people want their labour for example and don't care or think there is much more or it's easiest for maths when it comes to this kind of power for life) and kind of a bad system is done across the board seems to make a big machine work... at the cost of de-humanising people and subsidising it as it can't even calculate how the whole supply chain is doing with it's many factors also human related... so blame is people and tool here for thinking it works or still works... which could say to itself "I, Maths, work best for machines not so well for humans that like and value other things more hidden / not work trying to calc and momentary..., and they can't work like a machine etc despite the matrix chart you put them in.

Perhaps valuing life itself is an error numerically past very simple counting basics as it's an opinion or application which is biased beyond real human use and acceptance when at the end it's planet and plants even on the most raw and anti-maths level - still it might d better.

[ Ok I do wonder why I'm writing this - perhaps to also find out why I'm writing, so bear with me ]

The application of numbers etc is itself needed by people and this puts importance and mixes up bias in the 'who', 'why', 'which' group, when it applies them or which part of what etc... so you see already it's too politically mixing maths, too global, too uncaring and erroneous / incompatible with many parts of nature and life ( How much is your child worth might be a good question if GDP is for adults- sickening - quite like pimping people only for their body mostly and for profit ) though some people accept that readily-

After a while or when they can't pay their heating this winter they will soon cry out in pain or try fight others for something... and that's just more obvious inaccuracies and cheating people, many things are just not measured and cut out...

What you can't see happening can kill you or cheat you of energy in some other realm of economics (i.e. not taking care of planet type of economics) so maybe I think 'why bother so hard, why not find a way general satisfaction can be found, including people who can different levels of satisfaction). I live in a hut it's ok.

But the further arbitrary numbers and layers on top which buys and sells everyone taking care of planet and NOT each other properly NOT even at least working towards it or getting rid of such baggage and even training better is my problem... the mentality from this is also from numbers / money approach which is like a light to moths or doesn't require intelligence or tries to be too clever and steps on a rake in the garden of a million maths equations- humans being the 'problem' if it's expected to calc it all. (which I wouldn't mind but there is not much intention or respect for these things and not humans to be also excluded from - much like people trying to make everything in blockchain format when there is no needed).

To go on life representing things with number also avoids valuing the non-number human things like how passionate or creative or caring people are...
what all mums do 100x the value of any money they see...

and instead these numbers even grow as negative numbers, as
we see with banks growing negative maths or maths going towards the negative spectrum
x = [x + %] or x = x + debt on top
[ sickening basic equation for life ]

all instead of positive mentality as humans to be grown... not some sub-container as a number... which probably highlights faults of mankind more than number BUT the context can't be used in many ways so when you have tools that demand perfection or certain context then it can't handle imperfect subjects (people) and THAT IS THE PROBLEM OFTEN. Sound a bit like Hitler forcing a system on people and not far from it.

Humans are imperfect... I'm not even sure why I'm half saying this ! And on top I wonder how much you care about the human sides... I see the post after seems to include some of this

If we don't know our creator or the why, we can still make it our own reasoning to solve all toothaches more properly than the overcharging of dentists and respect ourselves as mini-gods or part of god or whatever we don't know created us tht we can respect as far as we know which is plenty.... that respect is by not valuing everything as numbers but as human respect instead.

I'll revisit this later - feel free to fight for my cause in whatever way while I'm away...

Just don't hang on to numbers only or too strongly, it can be a type of absolute or fascist type of order not compatible with humans - and much of

MY COMMENTS / RELATIVITY TO LIFE

I like this quote because it seems to say what I've always been saying or very much part of it... (not trying to claim anything it as mine or anything big)

Once we have a certain level of tech (and I'm not saying 0 tech) it *might* naturally move on to fixing people's perceptions. (This is a short way of saying it).

The mindset, a whole checklist of pre-assumptions, fallacy en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fallacy#, DisneyLand-like statements and sentiments carried on in adult life... to realise what holds up life actually and inaccurately (to say the least) and becomes more like predatory scamming or humans hunting other humans discretely (a little clearer for intention but still not killing directly and mostly stealing energy economically ) but I'm not going to go into that here much more!)

IS MASTODON ALL WE NEED?

More than Mastodon as the tech between humans and for humans or after we have such things talking to each other and able to exchange, harmonising perhaps is the evolution (as crap as that might sound and nobody wants to do that). that's literally the Mother Theresa or Gandhi thing visiting people 1 by 1 (peer-to-peer?) healing each other with knowledge how were are in multitudes of messes. A kind of undo 1-by-1 if you will.

But this is long-way round for most people let alone engineers who might prefer another 'system' and another project without seeing how projects can take a dive the very next day (much like people think it's a good idea to make a business or get married not to see why 50% crash hard)- still those people they might start building the next 'something else' tech orientated the very next day but actually everyone needs training out of these habits and even stopping to be Lemmings in their own field (as high up as it might be).

We don't need much more software engineering as such to focus on what we haven't been doing day (and night) and what hasn't been trained and paid for with as much vigor in Capitalism etc (things actually cut out in exchange for profit like listening, caring, emotional intelligence, zooming out)

I could call this 'human-engineering' or self-improvement / Anthropology / Socio-psychological dynamics or anything in realm of mentality and feelings rather than physical tech.

Seeing tech as mostly North America politically running things it has conquered, owns and runs from afar with it's own terms and conditions is also the base of thing.
Tons of data transfer and backups being use like it's nothing.

INCREASING AVERAGE INTELLIGENCE - IS IT POSSIBLE I ASK MYSELF?

The attitude of average people just suck (sorry for language) even in the nice or naive way.

So more than hate anything bigtech, literally people are what need realigning / reality brought to for front like a disk partitioning for humanity else it will stay maligned (knowingly or ignoringly). Not many people can claim they don't know, hear or see globalist type stuff so it is ignoring or not working on it.

And aside from a wall of text or longish presentation (which wasn't long for me as made sense) that length is inevitable with anything complex or worth solving. So we can make this fun as learning or whatever works for you as reading.

If anyone is not sure come try me out; text and audio welcome (not everyone offers this or makes time! I do!
What's the alternative?! More programming?)

SUMMARY
This video is a good representation of some of the basic important points of what we do and also what don't achieve with engineering efforts overall or need diluting with things like human debate / human interaction / self-teaching more often (just something more than racing ahead to create the next things that will be weaponised without the right mentality behind software or anything else plugged into 'other' plans).
Because if the plan was solving things, we really would have done it by now... It's the will that isn't there... so come show me different.

Some good stuff he had but no reply after trying to contact even for simple stuff, getting nothing means it's like a read-only type thing.

So can't recommend on that front / participation etc.

I understand not everyone is a 'publicity person' but basically something isn't quite right for movement (for me at least) when you get nothing back even for saying a standard reply.
